You can buy ANY spring sniper, gas sniper, or D.M.R. (M16, M14, etc.)

We are willing to spend up to $300, and it needs to be a spring rifle. He is a scout sniper, not necessarily a designated marksman. Like I said, we are looking for good range and about 450-500 fps

VSR-10 will eat all your cash. Try a BAR-10 or a MK96. BAR-10 is easier to upgrade. If you want a DMR, go with a M14. CYMA makes the closest TM clone. You'll need it upgraded. I have an M14 for sell that is HIGHLY upgraded and comes with everything but a battery. PM if you're interested my ad is in the sale section.

The L-85 up for sell is also a great choice. $300, its got plenty of range, dead quiet, still full-auto friendly, pre-cocking (instant trigger pull) and very maneuverable. I'd through a SUSAT on it and charge the batteries.
