PostSubject: Bipod question   Sun Jan 04, 2009 4:41 pm

My Bar-10 came in Friday. I can't wait to get it up and shooting. I'm in need of a harris style bipod. Does anyone know if this will fit a Bar-10? Airsoft Atlanta has it for $26.99. It says it fits an m-16/m-4 and KJW m700. I know that I need a bipod that mounts to a swivel stud. From the looks of it , it appears to. I just wondered if any of you guys had any knowledge of it. I was planning on ordering it tonight. The gift cards are burning a gaping hole in my pocket!

Edit, I forgot the pic!

I think as long as you have a picannty rail and the rail attachment, that will work. That looks similar to the one I have on my DBOYS MK12.

Then it won't work. I have a swivel stud.

The one in the picture does not look like something that will for a standard 20mm rail.

It's an SRC. I didn't think that it looked like it fit on a rail either. It doesn't say whether it fit either a swivel stud or a rail. This is all it says:

SRC M700/M4/M16 Bipod - 55871
Attaches to KJW M700 models
Will also attach to M4/M16 handguards (or similar)
Spring loaded legs flip out of the way, lock into position when ready
Length is adjustable
Add great looks to your rifle, sniper rifle, etc.
Great add-on for the KJW M700

I've looked at pictures of the KJW M700 and it appears to have swivel studs on it. I can't reach anyone at airsoft atlanta to ask if it fits a bar 10, and I can't find a definitive answer when searching the net either.

It's hard to tell from the picture. I purchased a bipod from walmart for about the same price as Airsoft Atlanta. It is mounted on the swirl post.

I checked both supercenters and turned up nothing. I even looked at Academy Sports and found nothing. I went ahead and ordered it today. After searching for a long time again, I came upon some information that seemed to help. Once my scope rings arrive, I should be good to go. AirsoftGI forgot to send them along with everything else. I was kind of frustrated. I had a scope and a rail but no rings! Thanks everyone for your assistance.

I just got a JG BAR10 from the amazing ASGI and I got a spring return bipod with it called the "ECHO1/DBOY Spring Bipod" for about $50 bucks and that was above my budget, but I got it anyway. Long story short, it came with an RIS rail adapter, but the BAR10 doesn't need that, it still works, u just don't use the adapter (better safe than srry/ it'll work with my UTG M14 if I ever go insane and go back to using that piece of crap again) LOL!
