| With the fall of Fidel Castro and the empowerment of his successor, Raúl Castro, Cuba’s relationship with Russia quickly returned to the state once seen during the Cold War era. As a result of this rejuvenated alliance, Russia, with its underlying communistic ideals, saw Cuba as a way to efficiently dismantle the democratic United States to jump-start their once-suppressed vision of a communist empire. Consequently, the Soviet Union was reborn. At the beginning of 2009, construction of a secret missile launch center in Cuba began under the direction of Soviet forces. The purpose of this launch center was to attack locations in the United States vital to the Soviet Union’s dismantlement of the US democratic government. Before construction was complete, US intelligence was made aware of the launch center and immediately began construction of an anti-ballistic missile launch facility, known as Central Midlands ABMF. Several months after completion of both launch sites, the Soviet Union fired its first missile in hopes of crippling the United States’ defenses. When the Central Midlands ABMF successfully destroyed this missile, the Soviet Union began plans to disable Central Midlands ABMF by way of ground assault. Welcome to chaos. Welcome to fear. Welcome to Red Tide. Date: October 23rd-24th Location: Waycross, GA Price: $15 standard (includes: admission both days, concession voucher Saturday afternoon), $25 full (includes: admission both days, concession voucher Saturday afternoon, Airsoft Unlimited Patch, and Red Tide t-shirt) (If this type of post is not allowed, please feel free to delete it)

Yep. I'd like to point out though that this is milsim objective/scenario based airsoft play. There will be a set main objective, structure possession objectives, etc. The Friday night mission will be the funnest though if you are into strict milsim. Roughly 80 acres of playing area including at least 5 structures, a large field (which I will have updated pictures of soon), camping/parking etc. http://swampbrigade.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=4There's a link to some pictures from our last event in March.

I just wanted to send out a reminder that the $25 preregistration is closing on Sunday, September 20th. You need to preregister BEFORE Monday, September 21st at 12:00 AM if you would like to receive the extra benefits such as the t-shirt, patch, etc. Standalone admission registration for both Friday and Saturday ($15) will remain open through the day before the event. This means you should at least register for admission BEFORE Tuesday, October 2nd at 12:00 AM. Remember, we won't be accepting walk-on payments so be sure to register ASAP. By registering first you are securing your slot in the event. By waiting to register, you are risking losing that slot.

Due to uncontrollable circumstances, we have been forced to reschedule the event for October 23rd-24th. The times and other aspects of the events will remain the same. The only thing we are changing is the date. To reflect these new dates, $25 preregistration deadline has been pushed to October 12th and the $15 registration deadline has been pushed to the 22nd.If you have an issues or questions, feel free to email admin@swampbrigade.org or send me a private message.

Alright guys, here's the deal: You can still preregister the $25 fee up until 12:00 am Monday OCT 12. $15 fee can be preregistered up until the day before. ALSO we will be allowing walk-ons to the field as well. Walkon fee will be $15 and you will not get any of the extras. The bad thing about this is that we have to register you at the gates and all that jazz. So please, if you can, preregister to save us all some hassle.
