Now, back to the subject at hand:

What's the reason for the postonment?

Lack of registered participants. The guy running the game was hoping to have 50 people registered by the end of the week. We had 10 on saturday. The game is fairly expensive, and has fairly strict uniform requirements. So with the economy the way it is, we thought it would be better to postpone it until fall.

That make perfect sense. I understand completely.

We are hoping that this will give us more time to plan, build props, and advertise the game. Hopefully we will get to put it on in the fall.
