I tried to get them to allow airsoft games three years ago and got laughed at. I guess since the economy is slow they have stopped their paintball elitism.

All the old-line scenario paintball fields are hurting for attendance, and increasingly looking to airsoft to fill the empty holes in their pockets.

Wayne's World down in Ocala was the first, and that broke a lot of ice since Wayne was well known and had been around for ages (almost as long as myself, lol). Now that Command Decision (NC), Mt. Doom (Alabama), Battlezone PB (Georgia), and Triggertyme (SC) are doing it, no surprise that Bear Claw has jumped on board as well. Clm-Wrx, you were just ahead of your time. Smile

That is good for airsoft though, as there appears to be many more paintball fields than airsoft. I know the small indoor paintball group in Huntsville has morphed somewhat, in that they do not allow the paintball ammo any longer. They have changed over to all high density foam ball ammo instead...plus they have added a small CQB area for airsoft battling...at $12 for 2-hours of play, I believe they will be hard pressed to fill many events.
