TO BERGET & BACK FOR <$2000

From Atlanta AEX to Stockholm ARN (round trip together)..............~1100
To and from the airport...............................................................~140
Hard gun cases..........................................................................~$90.........180
Uniforms....................................................................................~$70
Gun trapsport (one-way, "there").................................................~$74.........148
Field Fees (in Dec, +10 EURO per month. Released in OCT)........... ~$140
Passport (at least 3 months prior to leaving).................................~120
Euros/SEK (spending cash, including BBs and food).......................~$200........300

TOTAL.......................................................................................$1934........$2198

BERGET-ARRANGED (free)
BED
SHELTER
SHOWERS
220v
FIRST AID
WATER

WIFI (fee)
FOOD
LOCKBOX (TEAM)
STORAGE (PERSONAL)

PAYING FOR...
$108 a month from now until then (plane tickets and field fee payed in Dec 2009)
I'd suggest starting now. December 2008 to June 2010 is roughly 18 months away.

Save $ per/month......................................................................$107.67.......$122.12

I'd imagine this trip will cost more than $1934 indirectly but I can't account for
idivual spending. O'well, this will take some comittment but $30 a week is not
outragious.

Who wants to go in 2010?

There are some things you can do to save money. Ny numbers reflect a comfortable trip with the smallest chance for headaches. They are high though.

Purchase event ticket in October
Purchase airline ticket ASAP
already own necessary uniform
already own gun cases
Check AEGs as luggage VS shipping AEG
inside hook-up with an airline or ome version of airline miles
knowing how much food you will eat and how many BBs you'll need
use a footlocker as luggage so you you'll have lockbox there (must be <50lbs packed or airline will fine you)

I encourage anyone that is serious about attending to calculate your own trip expenses to get a better idea. Be creative in over-coming the high @ss cost of attending and lets try to help each other save money.

how can you transport airsoft guns via airline?

p.s. people wanting to go should consider travelling together, probably safest way to go

Good to hear Woosh!

Now we need to figure out a few things

uniforms
passports
airline fees for traveling with airsoft, if any
shipping charges to send airsoft ahead of time
How much luggage one person can take
long term parking fees
availablility (SP) of food at the OP

As of know I know of a few people that are going

Woosh
Matt Joiner
Brandon
mateba
&
Wade (maybe)

This is not bad considering that the game will not start for another 17 and a half months!

SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR BERGET!

I'm excited about the whole idea and saving $30 a week isnt really that bad at all. I spend more than that on stupid stuff every few days. But, 2010 feels like a long way off... wonder if I can go ahead and schedule vacation time at work for that week...
