Well I would love to go but I need to see about money issues. Between now and next Xmas is still a very long time and we will have people drop who say they are going and some that will join that didn't think they would. This is a huge commitment and everyone who is considering going needs to be ready for it. Its not just a money issue its everyone needing to spend the time to do their research and plan ahead. We need to have a meeting sometime for everyone that is considering going so we can discuss all that it would take to get us to this event.

I did some long thinking on this and i have decided not to go. Allthough it would be a great trip the cost of going is way to high for me. If you added up the $$$ that just 5-6 people would spend to go you would have enough to start up a really nice field in alabama. One that could have very large events like blackjack,ect. One that would last that could be used for years to come.

i agree josh but are we all gonna put 2k down on a field? and who has ownership rights? we would have to run the field constantly and maintain and pay for insurance and all that stuff im not really looking to invest into a field i just want to go to one of the best milsim ops

I'd just save for now and start buying everything around October 2009. At his time of before we should have a idea to run off of as far as uniforms and such. What time and where do you want to meet up BJ?

We should prob meet sometime before school starts back so that we have everyone in town. I'm free just about anytime. We just need to send the word out to everyone that is interested and see when the best time is to meet. Everyone that is interested in coming really needs to be there so that they can get an idea what type of commitment this would be. I really do hope we can get this together cause it would be a great strive forward and would get the SCA name out there.

I'm good after 5pm monday through thursday and after 3pm on fridays, for now.
