People in North Alabama

Ok I am looking for how many people you think are actively playing airsoft in th North Alabama area. I dont mean got a walmart gun and play in the backyard but real airsofters.

Also please take a guess at how many people you think North Alabama could grow too.

Id say in the 30's Maybe even less. We have quite a few kids here in arab but only a few are serious. Most play with clear guns and no gear Mad

i feel that its more in the 40, they just have not found the right feilds or something.-and im on my way to serious level,need a good gun Mad

We run about 20 in our group alone on a good day. 12 core guys that are there for every game. Interest in airsoft is definitely growing in Alabama. The lack of places to play around the Huntsville are have made us look else where to play, mainly the BK field. All we have here is farm land(no structures of any kind). Its good for training but it is hard to host an op on cow farm.

we in decatur have 12 members and we keep growing ever time we play by 1 member there is only one person left on our team that uses cross man guns and that his pistol (a co2 powered one) so dont knock the backyarders they help to fuel the sport at a base level

i know im on the same team as Hollow Echo ,so this should be no surprise that i agree with him but we dont always. but any ways my point is how many of you actually started of by going an buying some 200 to 300 dollar monster gun just to see if you an your 2 or 3 buddies you coned in to this can even take ashoot with out crying to your momma, im gonna take a guess an say none... you most likely went to walmart got sot some cheap springer pistols maybe a single shot pump shot gun an ran around your house like a mad man seeing if it hurts. then after a few months of conning more of your friends into playing you had what you called a team.then one of the more well of money wise members then gets a wild hair an looks online just to see what he can find, next game he murders the whole team by him self cuase he bought a 300 fps m4 a.e.g an no one cold even get close enough to draw a bead on him much less with stand a 30 roung volley comeing at your face, oh yeah them some bodies loses a tooth an you go buy full face masks to protect your head properly and then your like were s the other teams i feel lucky, an well you end up here on this forum going were do you live can i come play with you??? does any of this sound familiar?? lol!

yeah there are those with the money to through away on things they may never touch again but the rest of us have to be money smart, an face mask, whats that you say, you watch a guy get his teeth blown out with a gasser pistol and you'll wear a full face mask too. affraid

goggle dont save your teeth, ask the guy that owns airsoft revolutions if he plays without a face mask now my team Captian and Hollow echo were standing beside him, watched him spit out his tooth and the blood flow like water. take about ruining an game , nothing worse than the vendor having to leaving for emergency dental work, after that we spent the next 3 hours telling all the other players a weiver combat ranch where we bought our maskes an how much they were. i dont know about you but i hate dentist and any thing i can do to prevent me from going im gonna do , lol!

lol, i suck at playing when i have a full facemask though, my team did go buy $20 custom moutpieces though

well thats better than nothing, but you get used to the masks. the ones we use have a great field of vision were having a fogging issue though, but i just bought this stuff that is stopping it pretty good. its called reddish bling, i know why they fog , its heat build up, if we had a small fan in the helms it would fix the problem all together.

Hell, I don't even live in Alabama, but I'd bet there's no more than 20 of the type of players you're describing in this poll. (don't misunderstand me, even though I don't live there, doesn't mean I didn't grow up there)

The player I'm thinking of has multiple uniforms, multiple guns, goggles that don't fog, and has attended games more than 75 miles away.
