New Airsoft Player in the ville

Hey i'm Cory, i would like to know where yall play airsoft around here i know fps has a field but their rates are rediculous. I'm new to airsoft if anyone has any advice on the equipment to get please let me know im lookin at gettin a Cyberguns or JP FAMAS. Also could someone tell me if the orange tips on the guns are removable without damaging the gun.

i play at bad karma (Lebanon, TN) and Mt. Doom (Hanceville, Al). I personally like Echo 1 and JG as starter guns, but just personal preference. As for the orange tips, every one i have seen is. If you do remove it though, be sure to keep it in its box or a gun case when you're not playing, which you probably should anyway.

Hello, Welcome to the fourms, alot of us play in TN at Bad Karma but we have a few fields in Alabama right now. 1 in Mcalla, Im not sure if the one in Gadsden is running ops still or not and I know we have one in Mobile now.
I highly advise against the Cybergun brand because of their business tactics against Chinese companies that use trademarks. There is a pretty big boycott of their products in the airsoft community. I've heard some alright thing's about the Full Metal gearbox version of the JP Famas but it's not reallyl a trusted brand. Go with Dboy's, CYMA or Echo 1 for a rifle to start with. I would just put some black tape around the orange tip because it void's warranty's and breaks some laws. It also would take off your muzzle or flashhider and would take away from the realism of you gun.

Echo 1 is a rebranded JG. They're the same, except for Echo 1's 30-day warranty, and you'd just be buying for name. Do NOT go with Cybergun. The JP FA-MAS is an ok gun, but if you ask my opinion, it would be to go with a JG or a Cyma. Also, order off of Airsoft GI. Free shipping on orders over $100. Very useful.

Echo 1 also rebrands KART, CYMA, A&K and a few other brandto.

well I went with the jg g36k. It looked like the best gun for price next thing to get is gear

hey guys im from guntersville AL. I need a team to play on. i have a m15a4 classic army with upgraded gears. it hits about 400fps on .2 gram. but yeah the team in arab doesnt look like theyre into it anymore so i need a team to play on. one of my friends might be interested also.

hey but as u get a gun make sure u get a good pistol. they r a big help in the field if u dont have a spare mag or have just ran out of bullets. but for a first gun if u want it to last long i would get a echo 1 or a classic army

We are into anymore, most of the 20+ members dont really post here anymore for some reason.
If you look into the local events section, We are having a 14 hour operation from Friday-Saturday morning. We expect 30+ to be there.
