I went to Hazel Green today to visit the CSA Army Surplus store, and came across two of the mich or PGST style helmets...nothing to stunning, except that they were heavier than the plastic helmets from This and That in Huntsville, and when I turned them over to look at the underside, you could see the Kevlar composite materials that the helmet is made from. (1) helmet was $55 and the other, with a tattered woodland camo cover was $65. They seem to be quite small, as they would only rest on the crown of my head. Not sure if this is a good deal or not, but I know the new versions were selling for$300 on some website I visited...

Speaking of This and That, their knock-off helmets, which seemed to be of good quality ABS (?) were only $30, and they had some used covers for only $2. The helmets ranged in size M - XL.
