Ok guys this is the official thread to get you ideas across! Everyone that wishes to vote, pick two people that visit the forums that you would like to become the admins! You may vote for yourself if you wish. If we have ties we will go down to a vote with the last contestants. Also when the new admins are put into power these will be the absolute authorities on the forum, these are the ones that change the layout of the forums a designate moderators. The new admins will then take control on the forums and decide who to appoint and if a system needs to be put in place they will listen to the people and take care of business. Also when you vote you will need also to make suggestions on any new procedures or counsels you would like to see put into affect. Remember to vote for two people and you can vote for yourself. Also if you wish to move over to the new website be sure include that in your vote.

I suggest a moderator per three sections such as general, tactics, ect. Moderators appointed by the admin. This will keep the workload off the admin. Admin can releive command if the moderators abuse power. Discipline will be adminstered by admin only not moderators. As for the veneiw (sp?) I don't care as long as the only people touching the forum are two appointed admins. I think a .com is nice but of course will require a movement and we'll lose most of this info. The reason I have chosen matt and mike is because they have the ability to stay neutral and they are equally liked and respected on the forums. There are plenty of people that are more than capable of doin the job that me And matt currently do but I am aware of dissention between certain people and cannot vote for an admin knowing that they will not get along with everyone from the get go. And finally guys, I do not care whether me and Mateba stay in the administrative positions or not, that was not the reason I was upset, I truly want what works the best evryone and I do not wish to see anyone go as a result of this. So please vote for whoever you want. I'm not mad at anyone I'm still friends with everyone so if I get the boot don't worry we are all still friends lol and I will support the two admins whover they are wherever they are new forums or these forums and I urge everyone to do the same.

I have been with the forum only a short time, so I do not know enough of the people here to vote anyone into a position. I would like to see a list of people who would like to be an Admin and or a moderator. I would hate that we voted in someone who would rather not administrate or moderate etc.

I would nominate one candidate for admin:

Admin aka "mateba" - Admin presents a strong presense on the forum, as indicated by his many fact-filled and helpful posts. He appears to be very knowledgeable on everything airsoft, and has been quite helpful to threads he posts to.

If we could nominate our mods, I would nominate Bravo37 for the Tactical forum, and Esquire122 for the Support weapons forum.

Bravo has the professional background in military tactics, and has proven to be quite helpful. And Esquire122 has a passion for the Support Weapons, and has stated that he has some background with the real versions...if memory serves me.

This thread might need to be a sticky, until these positions are resolved.

First, I vote to stay at this site. . I also vote/ nominate for Mateba and Esquire.

Further, I put to the floor that we draft a charter for Alabama Airsoft. I propose that we have a Council of five members that would discuss and vote on everyday issues of Alabama Airsoft. This council would be nominated and voted on by the entire group. Those individuals would be permanent until they had to leave or were removed by a 2/3 vote from AA members. The two administrators that run the form must be active members of the council. There would need to be more articles for the charted addressed but this was the most pressing in my mind at this time. I request that this is added for a vote as well. This is a great opportunity thrust upon us. Further I nominate Mateba and Esquire for chairs on the council. I would suggest more people but I feel that we be to bold and would skew peoples own convictions.

my votes are that we keep the admins that we have and possibly add esquire as a third

also i do not want to be an admin...i wouldn't mind being a moderator over the less trivial stuff such as anti-spam...i hate spammers

I wrote the newly adopted Constitution and By-Laws of an organization that I belong.
It was liked will enough in form and function that it was adopted by 74% of the membership.
I would be willing to write one for Alabama Airsoft as well based on the well-liked
principles and provisions of document that I have experience in writing.

I think mateba does a fine job already, but electricblu...lol, needs to put forth some more effort, IMO, like logging on every once in a while. But if blu will pick up the pace, he does a good job also. If we do need a third admin I can't decide between madrule and esquire. They both seem to be the type of person that would do a good job as an admin and they are both older than our current admin, and that could be good as well.

I vote to stay here. As for admins my votes are for Mateba, Madrule and eletricblu.

1st - i vote to stay here and 2nd i vote Esquire122 and madrule and for the 3rd Mateba.

WHY SHOULD WE MOVE IF WE HAVE SOMETHING GREAT HERE!

...i think the forum is running fine by what i have seen in the last couple of months. everybody has gone a long way towards making this a very informative and fun place to chat. i do put forth a vote for mateba b/c he has become a help full presence on all of our forums. i also would vote for esquire b/c he seems to have a level head and realistic view on most matters.

Stay here. Mateba and Madrule.

I also vote mateba and madrule for admin and I think we should keep this site.

Late poster here, I've been at school and work. I am thinking we need 3 admin for one reason. If something happens to one to where they are not as effective (ie; life happens), the other of the two is not left to take all the responsibility. I would also like to add that if anyone doesn't want to be an admin or moderator, you will need to speak up. Of course, no one will hold this against you.

To all those that would like to add a third admin choice or choices for moderators, please do by editing your post.

I also want to encourage all of you to think about who you think would be a good moderators. I like Zac's idea of assigning Mods to several sections of the forums. I also think that once every team has a private section that the team should nominate their own mod to help keep their team section clean. This allows for a healthy forum and still preserves some privacy. I have a few ideas for the forums to help with cleaning but we can get into that later.

I would like to stay here and would like to see Esquire, Madrule or Zac as an Admin.

I would like to see Joshuaearlwade, kija99, sniperwoosh, or starwars as a moderator
