Hello Everyone,
Let's see here...an 8mm bb... weighing .48 grams
If you could push one out of the barrel at 328FPS = 100 m/s
Energy (joules) = 1/2 * m(kg) * v(m/s) squared
A .48g bb is .00048 kg therefore:
Energy = .5 * .00048 * (100*100) = 2.40 Joules at 100 m/s (328 FPS)
Energy = .5 * .00048 * (110*110) = 2.90 Joules at 110 m/s (360 FPS)
Energy = .5 * .00048 * (120*120) = 3.46 Joules at 120 m/s (393 FPS)
Energy = .5 * .00048 * (130*130) = 4.06 Joules at 130 m/s (427 FPS)
Well....I guess it would be hard to not call a hit with this weight bb...and if you
did blow off a hit, you be asking to get several more in some sensitive area.
I call that..PAIN COMPLIANCE!
Respectfully,
Esquire
