G&G Combat Machine Problems and Updates

Alright guys this is my first post on the forum! I have had my G&G combat machine now for about 8 months and have loved every minute of it. Although the gun has been awesome I have had some problems. Sad

The first problem was after about 2 months, my front sight fell off. ( even though they " cant " )

The second problem is that, I use a 9.6v 1400mAh intellect battery and it makes the motor freaking HOT!!! ( same with my 8.4v 1700mAh battery as well )

Does any one have any suggestions on how to fix these problems?

AND IF IT HELPS IT IS THE BLOW BACK VERSION ( EBB )

i had a motor issue too once. it was getting really hot. what helps is putting some lube on the shaft of the motor.

what kind of fps are you running? a motor pulling a heavy load or turning over a high ROF will get super hot sometimes

Can you post a pic of your fallen off sight? What holds that sight on are two pins at the bottom. That would be freaky that both fell out.

I had the entire front barrel come off mine, just used super glue and a mallet, but as for the motor, its a weak motor to begin with, and a 9.6 really pushes it. so I would suggest getting a new motor.

ya thanks a bunch. which motor would you suggest getting for the gun? a systema turbo? Thanks!

Thanks a bunch guys. Also i am going to be doing some mods for christmas. Does anyone have any ideas on what i should get for my gun ( besides a motor ) ( already ordered )

i was thinking of something very original like:
a grenade launcher ( not really original, though they look great! )

a shot gun for the front RIS ( does anyone know if they are made besides TM ? )

Tight bore barrel

And anything else you all suggest.

I would get a tight bore,m120 spring as for internal parts.
also if you get th m4 plus barrel (407 in length) and a gemtech black-side suppresor you would have a longer barrel.

do you know how to replace the motor or get in the gearbox?
if you don't know how to get in the gearbox don't get a new spring.
