Hey guys! I go to school at Birmingham Southern and I've been trying to find people who play airsoft in the ham. Do you guys have a local place where you play low-key weekend games and such? I know about Wellington, but I also want to just find a group of guys (girls? Razz) to skirmish with now and then.

Steel city Airsoft plays down there in some park or something. talk to those guys on here and get some info!

Also talk to Joshearlwade who owns a awesome field that we play at some time.

Also we have a field in Arab about 2 hours away that we hold weekly games and Monthly Scenarios at.

Hi, I'm new to posting on the forum, but I've lurked some and I played at a game at the Wellington field last summer (actually I think it might have been the first game ever played at that field)

Anyways, I know two guys from my school that play, and one of them says he knows a group of about 10 or so (I think) from Oak Mountain that play. Right now we don't have anywhere to play, so any suggestions for places in the Birmingham area would be good.

SCA has about 20ish people, that of which about 10 or so attend games regularly. We haven't been playing that much lately due to exams and the weather. We are going to be having a night game on Saturday the 16th. We try to show up around 10:00-10:30 so hopefuly we can be started by 11:00. Give me a call or text at (205)478-6297 for directions or any other questions you might have.

Cool, I'll see if I can go to that (though it's not likely, with parents and such). How often does SCA play over the summer?

Also, from what I've heard (and seen on mapquest) about Heardmont park, it's definitely not airsoft material. Are ya'll talking about some of the woods near it or something?

No, for the most part we use the actual park. Its not the best airsoft field in the world but it suits our needs. Don't judge a field by its mapquest though; come out and play a few games with us this weekend and find out for yourself.
