SCAR, SCAR and more SCAR'S

Subject: SCAR, SCAR and more SCAR'S Sat Sep 12, 2009 12:45 pm

Im trying to find a good working scar. The only problem is so many companys make them now. Jls, Echo1, dboys, CA, G&G, etc...... Im looking for one that will get the job done. I have seen, hold and shot the echo1 and it was an ok aeg. I have also seen the G&G in action. But the owner said it was not the best. So if any of you other airsofters out there could help me that would be great.

If you want a solid "SCAR", you should go with the VFC or the Ares. I don't know anything about the G&G, but if it's one the companies newer offering, it should be good. I would stay away from the CA and JLS, heard nothing but complains about them. The DBOYs and the ECHO 1 are good for the price. I have VFC scar and love it.

if you have alot of money and want a SCAR then get the WE gas blow back scar. they are amazing and as close as an airsoft gun can get to a real steel. only problem for me is the mags cost alot to have a good supply of them, but you said you have alot of money so yea go for it for real

$500+ and they are very nice. Ares come with a EGLM grenade launcher though.

The dboy's are nice, I had one for a while and I miss it. Has full FN Herstal trademarks and is full metal and polymer. The echo 1 is the same exact gun with Echo 1 trademarks.

They do sound kool. But I don't have good luck when it comes to gas guns Crying or Very sad

Yeah i saw that grenade launcher. It looks very nice. Now that i think about it. My friend has one. Hesaid the fps is a little slow. But im still thinking about

YEah my friend had th echo 1. it seemed ok looking. But i may get the Dboys scar. Its cheap, and my other m16 mags will work in it. Laughing

My VFC Scar is stock, no mods have been done to it. It shoots about 350-360 fps. The VFC "L" model comes with 2 barrels, one regular length and a CQB barrel. It also comes with a hard plastic gun case. I removed the long outer barrel, put on a new flash hider and mock silencer. The picture below has a bipod on the gun, but I done use it. It was for photo purpose only.
